This past week at the middle school I was able to work one on one with two of the boys that I work primarily with. I had created an activity where I would read a book, Dr. Seuss’ The Foot Book, to them and then I gave them a graphic organizer that they would id the pronouns, colors, and adjectives. I thought that the activity went really well as the boys were both able to id most of the words. There were a few words that they did have trouble identifying, such as adjectives but overall I thought that it went very well.

After we had finished our activity I went back into my main classroom and sat with my mentor teacher while the other students did a test. During this time I helped reduce with some multiple choice grading and then we she showed me how one of online platforms that shushes works. Also during the planning period she told me more about a trip that she is taking this summer. She is going to France and Ireland for two weeks in July. So we talked about her itinerary, what type of badge she would need to take, and some of the things that she is going to e doing. For someone who loves travel as much as I do it was a lot of fun to hear about her upcoming trip!
